To be honest, I was a little skeptical about using a home stager when I put my house up for sale. Wow was I wrong! Stage Worx helped me sell my home in 3 days for well over my asking price. NOT SO… at all...

Our older country home had been on the market for 7 months without a bite, so we decided to call Norma Jean from Stage Worx for a consultation. Her suggestions regarding painting, lighting and “minimalizing” transformed our house.   We recently sold our house with Johnson and Associates. Matt and John Hill offered the services of Norma Jean Borley of Stage Worx to do a staging consultation with us , and help us clear/clean up the clutter and ‘stage’ our home for sale.

When you reside in a home, sometimes you don’t always see the clutter that has gathered and will in effect make it difficult for potential buyers to see themselves living in your home.

Norma Jean came to our house and spent several hours during her consult, going over each room. She asked that we joined her, so that we could see and understand what needed to be done and why. After her visit, she left us a report that outlined each room and what she would recommend we do, in order to get the house where it needed to be for sale.

We also needed some painting and gardening work done (fast) and she was able to recommend some very good help, that was able to respond quickly to our needs. Both Eden Gardening and Sharpe Painting offered us excellent service, especially Andrew at Sharpe Painting!

Over the next few weeks we spent time de-cluttering and spring clearing/cleaning. An enormous job! The report with information on each room was our proverbial ‘bible’ throughout the process, referencing it daily we were able to stay on track and get the task done on time.

To our surprise, in an unusually slow real estate period of sales in Halton, we put our house on the market and sold it in 2 days! I have to admit, it looked amazing, and with the staging consult and the remarkable view multimedia video that Matt and John coordinated, we had 11 viewings booked for that week by Wednesday morning. Sold the Wednesday night!
